Kids Meet, Work With All-Pros At Camp

This year's McCown Passing Camp brought even more star power to East Texas. The McCowns brought some of their favorite targets, and the campers were impressed.

"It's a blast," Maud quarterback Dustin Gray said. "It's an incredible feeling to learn from them."

"I thought it was great to come out and see some of the guys you see on TV," Van quarterback Damon Hightower said. "Pretty amazing, they don't have to do this, but I'm grateful they took the time out to  help."

Cleveland's Kellen Winslow Junior, and Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin were on hand to help out, give advice, and of course, sign a few autographs.

"It's a good experience since I'm trying to go to the pros and play football,"  Liberty-Eylau receiver Alex Watson said.

"They're the best in the country," Gilmer quarterback Jordan Traylor said. "To learn from them, they know what it takes to be the greatest. To learn from them, it's really nice."

The pros jumped right into the drills, working with the campers.Of course, some campers already had a special connection with some of the pros. Mt. Vernon quarterback Christian Butler was especially glad to meat Anquan Boldin, since he's on Butler's fantasy football team.

"It's a thrill, really, just to see these guys that you draft on this fake thing, and he's out there doing it for real."
