Some East Texas kids are headed to Disney World this weekend but it's not about singing ''It's A Small World."
It is about taking on the best in the world.
Competitors from Nuon's Martial Arts in Whitehouse will compete in the U.S. Open World Karate competition.
Twenty-two students from each level (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) will face martial arts students from countries including Japan and China.
"I absolutely look forward to facing someone from Japan or China," Brandon Walker said. "Especially Japan. They rigorously train, even harder than we do here."
"I've been to state a few times," Michael Sapp said. "State was hard but I think this will be even harder."
"We're just very fortunate and lucky to have the skills to be able to go down there and compete with them," Master Sam Nuon said.
