The City of Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is now registering for the 2008 Football Camp for youth age 9-12. The camp will be held June 23-27 at the Glass Recreation Center at 501 W. 32nd Street in Tyler. Camp hours will be from 9 a.m. until noon daily.
The camp will be directed by Eule Ford, the Texas College defensive coordinator and head track coach. Ford previously served as secondary coach and defensive coordinator at Angelo State University; as the secondary coach and recruiting coordinator for Tyler Junior College under Coach Dale Carr; as well as the defensive backs and outside linebackers coach at Fort Hays State University.
"This camp is a wonderful opportunity for young players to learn from collegiate level coaches," said John Webb, Parks and Recreation manager.
