Women's Boot Camp Wants To Get You Into Shape

How far would you go to get into top physical condition? Some East Texas women are going to boot camp. They're not joining the military - it's a fitness boot camp.

KLTV 7 News went to check out the company that gives clients the workout of their lives.

It's 5:30 am at McWhorter Park, and 30 women are being pushed to their personal limits of endurance. "I love it," says Lacey Maxey. "It's hard, and my muscles are screaming by the time I get home, but I keep coming back for more."

Chris Hill's Adventure Boot Camp is an intense 4 week fitness program that's catching on with women. "It's 4 weeks of just an outdoor invigorating workout," explains Hill. "It's a lot different from being in a gym. We do something different every time."

2 mile runs, an obstacle course, and exercise drills compressed into a non-stop workout, all overseen by a drill sergeant style instructor.

And those pushing themselves say it's working.
