John Tyler Student Sentenced To Eight Years Over Terroristic Threat

A John Tyler student who was charged with making a terroristic threat against a rival school has been sentenced to eight years in jail.

Tyler Police say 17 year old Terrance Taylor admitted to making an anonymous 911 call and threatening the students at Robert E. Lee High School back in January of 2008.

Classes at REL were placed on lockdown at the time of the threats, but no weapons were found.
