28-year old Richard Parrott worked as a sergeant at the Willoughby Star Boot Camp in Marshall for just over a year before quiting last month to train in Austin to become a state trooper.
His job was to help troubled juveniles turn their lives around.
But now Parrott stands accused of sexual assault of two girls ages 13 and 14 years old.
Parrott is also charged with a separate sexual assault charge as well as possession of child pornography.
"Appropriate law enforcement agencies including the Harrison county sheriff's department, Texas Rangers, DPS and District Attorney investigators are currently conducting a complete investigation," says County judge Jim Ammerman.
It's not clear whether or not the alleged victims ever attended the Willoughby boot camp.
Judge Jim Ammerman, on the detention center board, says so far they aren't aware of any misconduct by Parrott during his employment, "I can't recall having heard of being made aware of any complaints about his conduct or performance."
The Harrison County Sheriff's department says they became aware of the alleged sexual assaults after one of the girl's parents came forward.
