A Tyler man was arrested Monday morning for making threats against ETMC Hospital. Police say they charged 29 year old Brett Ashley Harlow with Terroristic Threat and Making a Hoax Bomb.
ETMC says Harlow told an employee he was going to bomb the hospital. When police arrived, he led them to a field a few blocks away.
Inside a manhole, officers say they found a coffee can filled with gasoline, soap, and nuts and bolts. Investigators say the device could not have exploded, and no one at the hospital was ever in danger.
Harlow is being held on $140,000 bond.
