The softball season is down to just four teams and this morning, the Harmony schools sent one of them off in style with an early morning pep rally today for the Lady Eagles. Harmony will play tomorrow in the state's final four in Austin. The town wanted to show their team their support, and the Lady Eagles appreciated the sendoff before the big game.
"It's really nice," Harmony shortstop Samantha Matulis said. "It means a lot to us that trhe whole community comes out and supports us, and it's just nice to know we have people standing behind us."
"I get the chills," Harmony pitcher Amber Wilburn said. "Everytime I think about it, it's just really awesome that we're one of the top four teams in the state."
Harmony will play East Bernard Thursday at 4:30, if they win, principal Dennis Glenn will be bringing the seniors back from Austin for Friday Night's graduation.
