Tyler's Franklin Reflects on WNBA Debut

Over the weekend, Tyler's A'Quonesia Franklin officially made her pro debut.

Aqua hit the court with the Sacramento Monarchs in their WNBA season opener. She finished the game with two assists and a rebound.

The team is currently on a three game road trip. When KLTV 7 Sports Director Maya Golden talked to her by phone from Seattle, Aqua said the fact that her dream has come true has not really hit her yet.

She did admit that during Saturday's there were some jitters.

"Just nervousness and excitement," Aqua said of her debut. "First WNBA game that I was actually playing in. It was just excitement and once I got on the court, it was a lot of nervousness. But, I got out of that real quick because I have to realize it's the game that I love."

Aqua and the Monarchs take on Seattle Tuesday, May 20 at 9:30 p.m. That game can be seen on ESPN2.
