A wild scene in a Longview courtroom on Thursday as a man on probation for murder is sentenced to life in prison. 21 year old Francisco Guerrero hung his head as judge Alvin Khoury sentenced him to life in prison. Guerrero was arrested in may for a D.W.I. accident, a violation of his probation from an august 2000 conviction where he shot Alejandro Solis at an apartment section, who later died. The sentence set off a wild sequence where Guerrero's mother passed out and he tried to get to her, setting off a wild wrestling match between him and bayliffs. Guerrero was restrained and then removed. He will now be turned over to the Texas Department of Corrections to serve his sentence.
