A woman and a young boy, believed to be about three years old, have been found dead at a BREC park near Zachary, LA.  Two other children, believed to be young girls, were found injured but still alive at the park, reported WAFB's Greg Meriwether.

One of the surviving children, believed to be about four years old, had a cut to the throat.  The other victim is an infant, sheriff's investigators said.

A BREC worker found the woman's body and called police.  The two girls were then spotted in the park.  As deputies were investigating the scene, they stumbled upon the body of the boy.

Deputies believe the woman's throat had been cut.  The boy had "severe trauma" to his body, Meriwether reported.

The two surviving children were transported to a Baton Rouge hospital.  WAFB 9NEWS is not disclosing the name of that hospital, to protect the safety of those children.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Casey Hicks says deputies are looking for the driver of a blue Crown Victoria who is believed to have pulled up to the park and dropped off the injured children. The driver was a black male.

A black female and two additional children were also in the vehicle at the time, Hicks said. If you see this vehicle, call 911.

The park, located at 7801 Pride-Port Hudson Road, is in the northwest part of East Baton Rouge Parish near the East Feliciana Parish line.
