Fast Food Playground Damaged In Car Crash, But No Injuries

Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock, an out of control driver veered off the highway 64, drove through the grass, and came to a stop after crashing into the McDonalds restaurant on Fifth street in Tyler.

Luckily, no one was in the playground at the time and no injuries were reported. The playground gate was broken, and several windows in the building were also shattered.

Police speculate the driver may have had a seizure. She was taken to ETMC for observation.

The restaurant shut down the dining area for clean-up, but the drive-through remained open.
