Marathon Bible Reading Begins

A tradition of faith and prayer began today in one east Texas town to coincide with national day of prayer.

It was the Fifth Annual National Day of Prayer reading of The Bible at the Prayer Tower in Pittsburg.

Over the next five days, the books of The Bible will be read 24 hours a day.

Several people will read The Bible in different languages.

For those involved it's a way to bring the hope of The Bible to others. The reading of The Bible will continue every hour until the Book of Revelation is completed on Thursday.
