New Funding & New Resources For E.T. Soilders

New partnerships and new money - all to help East Texans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

On Friday, the Dallas Foundation announced new funding and partnerships to help East Texas servicemen and women. The American Red Cross has partnered with the Andrews Center and Mustard Seed Ministries. These organizations have joined together to start connecting those who have with those that need.

"In order to better provide services, and bring more services in, we've got to identify these families. Really the only way we can do this is to self identify," said Tammy Prater, Executive Director of the American Red Cross.

The Red Cross is now working to build a database of those who need help, and those that can give it.

You are encouraged to contact them if you are a family member of an Iraq or Afganistan servicemen, or if have a ministry that helps our armed forces.
