White Oak Residents Clean Up Storm Debris

The clean up continues in White Oak today.

One of the hardest hit areas by the storm yesterday was the Pine Hollow Community located at 1311 North Whatley Road. Today, residents continued to cut up trees that had toppled homes.

This afternoon, White Oak's building inspector surveyed the most damaged homes.

"This house is the most severe I've seen so far, and I won't be able to turn the power on it because of possible water damage.  I think most of the homes are salvageable. It's just going to take a little bit of time to get them back up and operational," said Ron Cherry.

Officials tell us power has been restored to all but two of the homes in the Pine Hollow Community.
