High Speed Chase Winds through 2 East Texas Counties

A high speed chase through two East Texas counties ended Sunday afternoon in two arrests, but fortunately no injuries.

The chase began on FM 47 in Van Zandt County, when a DPS corporal pulled a truck over for cutting across the median.

The two men took off though, when asked for identification.

The chase covered twenty miles, and reached speeds of a hundred miles an hour.

15 minutes later, the chase ended in Kaufman County when both men surrendered. DPS says they also found stolen property in the truck possibly related to a Fort Worth burglary.
