Java Jolts Tyler's Economy

The East Texas economy will be getting a jolt from its java. Wednesday morning, groundbreaking began for Distant Lands Coffee Roaster. Based in Tyler since the early 1980's, the company has been roasting and packaging specialty coffee that's shipped through the U.S. and internationally. It's new location will be off Highway 64 west. The new building will provide more space, in turn, creating up to thirty five new jobs. Distant Lands Coffee hopes to be open and operating in their new building by the years end.
