The presidential contest in Texas has gotten even tighter after this weekends democratic caucuses. In Smith County, more than 900 delegates came out Saturday for the democratic convention. In the end, 46 delegates were chosen to go to the state party convention in June, 42 of them are pledged to Obama. Hundreds of delegates also came out for Gregg County's convention. Twenty-seven delegates were chosen to go to Austin in June, 19 for obama and eight for Clinton.
Across the state, Obama won 60% of the delegates, with Clinton earning 40%. There are still about 3,500 delegates to be counted.
