Football Game To Benefit Huse Family

In the wake of sadness in the Arp community one East Texas team hopes to bring in some cheers and help a grieving family.

The East Texas Wolves, a minor league football team, will dedicate the remainder of their season to Jackson Huse memory. Six-year-old Jackson passed away earlier this week from brain cancer.

The team played a benefit game to help with Jackson's medical bills last April, letting Jackson take the field with the team.

Again, the Wolves have set up a benefit game for the Huse family.

On Saturday, March 29 the Wolves will play the Greenville Oilers at 7 p.m. at Arp's Bill Herrington Tiger Stadium. Proceeds from the game will go to the Huse family.
