East Texas Youth Group Answers Widow's Prayers

The count down was on as Oakland Heights teens rushed to put the last minute touches on the home of 78-year-old Louise Jones. "We're just excited and hope that Mrs. Jones will be as excited when she comes home," said Brenda Plyler, a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.

From putting away tools and supplies to getting Jones bed together. the Oakland Heights youth group worked down to the minute to make sure the home of Louise Jones was flawless. Finally, as Louise Jones arrived home the moment they had all been waiting for was here.

As Jones walked up the stairs of her home and entered the front door she couldn't believe her eyes. "I been praying a long time and God answered my prayers and sent me help," said Jones. "We put a lot of hard work into Mrs. Jones house and some people are probably wondering how much are they paying us but I'm just glad that we did it for the Lord,"said Greg Adams.

From a newly remodeled kitchen with a brand new stove to a play area for all her loved cats. For Louise Jones and 50 faithful teens its' an unforgettable moment.

Louise Jones says she loves her newly remolded home so much that she's extended an invitation to the youth group to stop by anytime.
