A follow up . Authorities say what was thought to be a "live grenade" over the weekend was determined to be "non-functional". On Saturday, White Oak police say a White Oak man found the grenade in a burn pile near Laneville, outside of Henderson in Rusk county. Police say the man thought it was a "dummy grenade" and took it home to his father in White Oak, who called police. An Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearm agent eventually dismantled the device. Officials say no other grenades have been found at this time.
