Longview Car Dealership Owner Dies

The owner of Gorman McCracken car dealership in Longview has died of an apparent heart attack.

40-year old Rusty Russell was found slumped over in his car early Saturday evening at the intersection of Spur 63 and Highway 80.

Today, flowers were hung on the doors of the Volkswagon- Mazda dealership. Russell rebuilt the business after thieves set it on fire and stole several vehicles in February 2000.

Preliminary autopsy results suggest a heart attack is the cause of death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the First Christian church in Longview.
