We have new information on the murders of a Rains County family. Preliminary autopsy results reveal that members of the Caffey family were still alive when the house was set on fire.

The mother, Penny, 13 year old Matthew and 8 year old Tyler, had all been shot or stabbed.

According to Justice of the Peace Don Smith, all three suffered from smoke inhalation, which means they were still breathing when the house was on fire.

Charlie Wilkinson, Charles Waid, and Bobbi Johnson are accused of killing the Caffeys. The Caffey's 16 year old daughter, Erin, has also been charged with capital murder.
