Early this morning, Longview Police arrested two suspects for allegedly stealing radiators from a Longview business.

Officers arrived at McDaniel's Quality Body Works around 1:20 am, in response to an alarm. When they got there, they saw several radiators stacked outside the business, so officers set up survaillence to see if the suspects would return. After waiting a short time, the officers saw a car dropping off two people.

When they saw the two suspects begin stealing radiators, the officers apprehended them.

A traffic stop was also made on the vehicle seen dropping these suspects off and the driver, 38 year old Michael Charles Causey, of Longview was taken into custody.

He was charged with theft over $1500 and under $20,000 and unlawfully carrying a weapon as the result of a wooden club and expandable baton that were found in his vehicle during the traffic stop.

One of the subjects observed taking the radiators, 18 year old Bradley Wayne Causey was also charged with theft over $1500 and under $20,000.  The third subject was a juvenile and he was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
