Second Bomb Threat At Gladewater School

For the second time in two days, a bogus bomb threat is made at Gladewater high school, and this time the students were sent home. Gladewater police were called out just before 8:00 this morning and evacuated the students. After a search by police and fire officials, it was determined the threat was false. Police say that even false threats come with serious consequences.

"Well its still a terroristic threat and it is a felony so they could look at potentially prison time for making this kind of the threat it is a very serious offense" said Gladewater police chief Farrell Alexander.

Gladewater I.S.D. Superintendents office says they made the decision to send students home and allow police to conduct their investigation because it was in the best interest of the school. Bob Hallmark reporting/
