Three members of one family have been found dead at a home in Rains County. Investigators say a 39 year old woman and her two young sons, ages 8 and 13, were found dead in a burning rural East Texas home after a reported predawn shooting.
The episode began about 4 a.m. Saturday with reports of a house on fire and shooting.
The father, reportedly a man named Terry Caffey, suffered from at least one gunshot wound.
He is hospitalized at ETMC Tyler in critical but stable condition.
Four suspects, three of them high school students and one a juvenile, were arrested and booked into the Rains County Jail, where they were held without bond.
The two males and two females are expected to be charged with three charges of capital murder each.
