The battle against gambling continues to pop up in East Texas. The final stages of the operatoin began Wednesdasy in Henderson and now over two dozen people have been arrested. 250 8-liners have now been confiscated. Nine different law enforcement agencies have joined in the sting operation, which was started by undercover officers three months ago. The machines, taken from 14 different gaming locations in Rusk County, were being emptied of thousands of dollars Thursday. 25 people have been arrested and another dozen more are being sought by police. Five people in custody are facing felony charges of organized criminal activity.
