Patriots Hope To Earn National Tournament Spot At Home

For the first time in the school's history the, UT Tyler Patriots women basketball team can bring home a national title.

The patriots are now full fledged members of the NCAA and they could earn the shot at nationals right at home.

The Patriots will host the American Southwest Conference Women's Championship Tournament starting Friday.

They are the top seed out of the East division and play Mary Hardin-Baylor Friday at 8 p.m. The tournament winner receives an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III tournament.
