While area basketball teams are still hoping for a state title, over the weekend the All Saints Lady Trojans soccer team made it back to back to back state titles.
All Saints won their third straight state title on Saturday against Liberty Christian. A program just three-years-old, the Lady Trojans have won a state title each year their soccer team has been in existence.
In that three years the team has only had one loss and has outscored opponents 120-7.
All Saints victory Saturday came with a 4-3 shootout win, with goalie Lauren Grabskie getting the final kick.
"It is the most nerve racking feelings I have ever had," Lauren said. "It's kind of a lot of pressure to deal with at one time. Everyone's kind of looking at you and hoping that you can only better the situation for the team."
"The whole game it was just really suspenseful,"said center and midfielder Danica Saxon. "We didn't know which way it was going to go we were just playing the best we could."
