Missionaries Get New Home Thanks To Some Helping Hands

A local family is receiving a new home thanks to some helping hands.  The Campbell's have been doing missionary work for nearly 50 years in Brazil and needed some extra space at home to work in.

Saturday, East Texas fathers and sons, with the Alert Cadets helped build the Campbell family a new home in Smith County.

"We were hoping for this for awhile, but we didn't really think it was going to come together," said Jonathan Campbell.  "Some people have donated some money and then the Alert group has donated a lot of time and other people have offered time.  We're very excited this is coming together.  It's just beyond our dreams."  The Campbell's are working on translating the Bible for an Indian tribe in Brazil.
