Gregg County Man Guilty Of Federal Drug Charges

United Sates Attorney John Radcliffe announced today that a 25 year old Longview man has pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking charges in the Eastern District of Texas.

Bryan Durell Lynch was indicted on Nov. 6, 2007, and charged with possession with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine. He pleaded guilty today before a United States Magistrate.

According to info provided to the court, an investigation began in May 2007 into the distribution of cocaine in East Texas by Lynch and a co-defendant.

Lynch faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $1 million. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

The case is being investigated by the FBI, the ATF, the Longview Police Department, and the Gregg County Sheriff's Office. It's being prosecuted by Assistant US Attorney Richard Moore.
