An East Texas mother is in jail after endangering her 18 month old son while driving intoxicated.
Alicia Lynne Childress was pulled over Wednesday at 6 pm in Tyler at Troop Highway and Loop 323 with her son in the car.
While the officers were removing the child's car seat to deliver him to CPS custody, pills starting falling out of the car seat.
They found ten Zanex pills and nine hydrocodine pills. Childress has been charged with DWI, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and endangering a child, authorities say because the child was within reach of the children.
