Governor Rick Perry was in Tyler Friday.
He's traveling across the state telling Texans he plans to fix escalating homeowner's insurance premiums.
The Governor told guests at a Tyler home that he hopes to start regulating homeowner's insurance. He also wants to end manipulative credit review practices used by some companies.
He says the problem lies with a few insurance companies who are ruling the majority of the market. And, that more options will mean Texans will have more control over what they pay for insurance.
