An unusual exhibit is going on at the Upshur county museum, that mixes spirits with a little history. A display of American history decanters, what some would call whiskey bottles, is currently being shown at the Upshur county museum in Gilmer. Carthage artist Bob Harness was commissioned by McCormick distilling company to create old west and historic decanters.
Using old photo's, paintings and sketches, harness created images of Bat Masterson, wild Bill Hickock and Betsy Ross to name a few. The decanters will be on display at the Upshur county historical museum until May. Bob Hallmark firstname.lastname@example.org
