Benefit Concert For East Texas Boy

His smile will light up a room, and despite having a life-threatening illness an East Texas boy continues to show that smile day after day.  Kedarion Thomas, 8 of Tyler was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia last September.  Since then, he and his family have been in and out of Children's Medical Center in Dallas, costing them thousands of dollars.  To help, Tyler Country and Gospel singer Dyanna Dawn has decided to throw a benefit concert for Kedarion and his family.  The concert will feature Dyanna and Las Vegas illusionist Jason Bird.

"Kedarion is a very sweet 8-year old boy who has found a soft spot in my heart, and he's been diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive Leukemia, and my purpose and my mission is to help raise money for a bone marrow transplant for him."  A bone marrow transplant can cost anywhere from $150,000 to $500,000.  The concert is this Saturday, February 9th at Caldwell Auditorium in Tyler starting at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $20 dollars and are available at the door.  For ticket information, call 903-581-7563.

If you can't make the concert, but would like to help Kedarion and his family with their medical costs, you can do so by sending money to:
