A search for two men on the run in Gregg County ended Tuesday night.
38 year old Alan Boone and 23 year old Allen Alexander were taken into custody and charged with evading arrest and burglary of a home.
The hunt for the suspects began Tuesday afternoon when the pair allegedly were caught breaking into a home near Liberty City.
They were dressed in camouflage sheriff's uniforms. When confronted by the homeowner, the men fled, wrecked their car on a farm to market road and ran into the woods.
Officers found stolen merchandise and guns in the vehicle. Police dogs, helicopters and mounted officers were called in to search the area. Alexander is being held in the Gregg County jail on a 30 thousand dollars bond, while Boone is being held on a 80 thousand dollars bond.
