California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says John McCain is an "extraordinary leader" who can reach across the political aisle to get things done.
That's why Schwarzenegger says he is endorsing McCain in the Republican presidential race.
At a news conference today that also featured former New York mayor and presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani, Schwarzenegger praised McCain for his national security credentials and as a "crusader against wasteful spending."
McCain is counting on Schwarzenegger in California and Giuliani in New York to help propel him to victory in the two biggest states holding primaries next week. Combined, they offer 271 of the 1,023 delegates at stake on Super Tuesday.
