Tyler Police Department, with the help of the ATF Task Force and Crimestoppers, has been able to identify four suspects in the December burglary of Sid's Pawn Shop. Large amounts of jewelry, 50 assorted handguns, shotguns, and rifles were stolen, with losses exceeding $100,000.
Investigators have been able to recover video of the two suspects from the Kelly Springfield Credit Union located next door just before they broke into the pawn shop. The suspects also cut the video cable to the Credit Union in attempt to not be caught on tape.
Three of the four suspects have been arrested and charged with felony offenses.
On January 28, 2008, William Earl Pemberton III, B/M, 12/22/1987, of Dallas was arrested in Beaumont Texas while committing a Burglary. He was also charged with a felony theft warrant.
The second suspect was identified as Qualon Rashard Williams, B/M, 02/28/1987, of Dallas. Police have not been able to locate Williams at this time. Williams is known to frequent Tyler on weekends.
On January 30, 2008, investigators arrested two female suspects that were also present during the burglary. They were identified as Vianca Charquindelin Green, 21, of Tyler and Cetera Danielle Bates, 19, of Tyler. Currently the firearms that were stolen have not been recovered at this time. Investigators are looking at these subjects who may be involved in over 20 commercial burglaries in our area. Investigators are also working with other law enforcement agencies across Texas and Federal ATF agents to determine the involvement of these suspects in other burglaries where firearms were stolen.
