CPS Reduces Amount Of Children Who Have To Spend Nights In Agency Offices

Child Protective Services says fewer abused or neglected children are having to spend the night in agency offices. The number had topped 100 in May, but for each of the past three months the number was in single digits.

Agency officials say they can't fully explain why the number has dropped after rising a year ago. But they hope it's a because of its work with foster care providers.
