Longview's Women's Health Boutique Offers New Breast Prosthesis

A new prosthetic process will now help women who have undergone radical surgery to get back to a normal life.

In Longview today, health care workers gathered at the Women's Health Boutique for the introduction of Radiant Impressions,  a unique process which duplicates a patient's breast after mastectomy.

The process involves a new silicone prosthetic and the patients are form fitted using a plaster mold, meaning every detail about the patients form will be perfectly reproduced.

Surgical experts say that the process helps women immediately, not having to wear an uncomfortable alternative prosthetic.

The prosthesis costs an average of 15-hundred dollars from casting to fitting. If you'd like more information on Radiant Impressions, call 903-758-9904.
