Bizot Faces Home-Away-From-Homecoming

"Mississippi Man" is not only half of my favorite Conway Twitty song, it's also a good nickname for UT Tyler basketball coach Kenny Bizot. Bizot went to Mississippi College, he was an assistant there and recruiter, and helped turn them into a national power.

As first year head coach of the Patriots, Saturday he got his first chance to knock off his alma mater. The Patriots fell, however, 60-57.

The Patriots women's team won, beating Mississippi College 85-57. Becky Taylor led the way with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
