Hundreds of East Texans hunting for a new job turned out for the KLTV.com Job Fair Wednesday. Close to 20 East Texas employers set-up booths at Tyler's Rose Garden Center, including KLTV 7.
Job seekers were able to ask questions, meet employers face-to-face, and hear about recent openings. Some of the more than 500 Goodyear employees laid-off this past month were there looking for jobs as well.
"I was a forklift driver and janitor and tire builder," said Glenda Stone. "I'm just going to have look around."
"It was kind of a scary feeling, knowing that that's what you've been doing," said Sharon Green. "I've been there for 20 years and having to wake up without a job is pretty scary."
If you weren't able to attend Wednesday's job fair, you can search our online job databases. You can find that under the "job" link.
