Comprehensive evaluation and care
Through the ETMC Rehabilitation Center, registered and occupational therapists work with physicians and employers to design individualized treatment and work conditioning programs to assist injured workers in preparing to return to the workplace.
ETMC Business Health can implement customized physical and rehabilitative evaluations for your employees. Pre-offer evaluations often include a medical component, such as a drug screening, along with the physical assessment of an employee's ability to perform a particular job. Functional capacity evaluations help assess and quantify an employee's impairment due to workplace injury. Ergonomics testing and consulting is also available to help reduce musculoskeletal disorders caused by inefficient workplace or job design.

ETMC Business Health ensures that all collection protocols are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Our testing staff is certified by the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA). Breath Alcohol Testing is performed by certified technicians and an on-site certified medical review officer (MRO) is available to discuss results.
Examinations are conducted by staff members trained in evaluating employees before placement in the workplace and in treating those who do encounter on-the-job injuries. Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals are conducted by Dr. Sharon Evers, who is board certified in occupational medicine.
Pulmonary function testing
