No Suspect Arrested in Tyler Drive-by Shooting

A black male allegedly opened fire during rush hour traffic in Tyler, Wednesday night.

Police are still searching for a 1963 or '64 Chevy Impala and the suspects inside who fired the shots.

The shooting started on Gentry and M.L.K..  Tyler Police say a Grey Impala and the driver 20-year-old Juan "Peter" Vargas were the target of the bullets.

Investigators found more than 10 bullet casings along Gentry Highway, but no suspects.

The victim told investigators he had no reason for anyone to shoot him and still aren't classifying this as gang activity.
