Freedom Fighters: Bernie Demers

As a career Air Force pilot, Bernie Demers spent a number of Christmas seasons away from home, especially during the Vietnam War. Since Demers had always loved Christas as a boy, he has made up for all the Christmases he missed with his Christmas collection.

Demers begins decorating his home in October. It takes hundreds of hours to drecorate the Christmas trees he has in every room of the house. Old fashioned trees, Disney trees, and Christopher Radco trees, are just a few of the themes you'll find in his home.

Demers buys his decorations every where from garage sales to specialty Christmas stores. The beautifully decorated Demers' home in Hidaway is enjoyed by both family and friends.
