Tyler Police and Firemen Go Cowboy For A Day

Police officers and firefighters are trading in their patrol cars and fire trucks for bulls and bareback horses this weekend.

It's all part of the Tyler Police Rodeo Association's Sixth Annual Rodeo benefiting Smith County Campus Crime Stoppers and the Children's Advocacy Center.

The rodeo starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Lindale Rodeo Arena, just west of Lindale on Highway 16.

Tickets will cost $5 at the gate. Children under eleven get in for free.
