Four In One School Community Service Project

They are joining forces to help the community. It's called four in one.

Four private schools in Tyler: All Saints, Brook Hill, T.K. Gorman and Grace School are working together to provide for over 5,000 hours of community service in the span of just three days.

Tuesday morning the Grace freshman helped sort through boxes of donated goods at the Salvation Army in Tyler. They were part of 883 students participating at nearly 20 locations.

"We do take it for granted and we don't realize people that don't get much so we need to come down here get and help out,"said Craig Schembach a Freshman at Grace Community School.

"This is incredibly encouraging. To see them come in here during the day and at night as well and volunteer it's really a blessing,"said Captain John Falin.

Four in one will continue all week long at Smith County locations including Habitat For Humanity, Make-a-wish, Children's village, Goodwill, MADD and The East Texas Food Bank.
