Car Crash At Trades Day Pins Child

It was a scary scene Saturday afternoon at a popular trade day after a car crash sends a young boy and another man to the hospital.  It happened around 3:00 p.m. at the Tyler Trades Day located off Highway 69 North.  Tyler police say a white ford truck rear-ended another truck going down Highway 69.  The trucks they say crashed into another car, pinning a boy in between the vehicles.  Witnesses say after hearing a loud bang they rushed to the scene to help.

"It was crazy," said witness Joshua Miles.  "Right after it happened everybody from the show came right over here to see what happened.  Obviously, the first concern was the kid, make sure the kid was alright."  Police say the boy suffered minor injuries.  One of the drivers was also sent to the hospital, but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.  Tyler police say the driver who caused the accident will be ticketed.
