Longview Model Air Show Takes Flight

The skies over Longview were filled with fighters, bombers and wild aircraft of all designs in miniature.

It was the annual spring "Fun Fly" at Longview Field for members of the East Texas                Aero-Modelers Club.

The fly raises money to fund the clubs exhibitions and teach new members.

There was a little something for everyone today from flying lawn mowers to the crowd favorite,  vintage B-25 World War II bombers.

The model pilots say it's a ideal family hobby.

The next model air show will be June 1st at the Rusk County Airport in Henderson.
