Cowboys Defeat Packers, Capture NFC Lead

It was the game everyone was talking about that a privileged few would get to see.

The Dallas Cowboys taking on the Green Bay Packers, both teams 10-1 and fighting for first place and possibly home field advantage in the NFC.

Early in the first quarter the Cowboys took an early 6-3 lead on a Nick Folk field goal.

Still in the first, the first touchdown of the game courtesy of Tony Romo and Patrick Crayton, and the Cowboys take a 13-3 lead.

The Cowboys defense would leave a hole for the Packers with one second on the clock left in the first quarter. Ryan Grant made it a three point game, 13-10 Cowboys.

Tony Romo would go to work again and make some magic. Romo would throw to Anthony Fasano for the score for his first NFL touchdown. Cowboys took a 20-10 Cowboys.

Romo would later go to his favorite receiver: T.O. for the TD. Cowboys took at 27-10 lead at the half.

Second half, Green Bay made a game of it. Cowboys went up 27-17, when the Packers would pull within three. Favre would go to Grant again to make the Cowboys lead was cut to three, 27-24 Cowboys.

In the fourth quarter, Cowboys would seal the deal. Romo went to Patrick Crayton again. Cowboys went up 34-24.

Green Bay and Dallas would both tack on field goals to go up 37-27.
